Patriot seem to be using collaboration with Intel as a selling point during Computex, as it plans to have its Extreme Performance Viper Series DDR3 on display at a number of booths during the event. This will include having the modules used in demo units at Intel's 4 series chipset launch on Wednesday, as well as being used in the displays of other major motherboard partners such as MSI and Foxconn. Patriot's DDR3 is programmed with Intel's Extreme Memory Profile (basically fancy SPD settings which make overclocking more straight forward). Intel are obviously happy to have memory manufactures tailoring modules for use with its chipsets.
