Hardware Roundup: NVIDIA Tegra Edition

Nemo - June 3, 2008 04:47AM in Affiliate News

As we reported yesterday, NVIDIA has launched its Tegra processor aimed at the mobile market. Designed as a low-power system-on-a-chip for mobile Internet devices, there are two versions of the chip clocked at 700- and 800MHz and feature a RISC-based ARM 11 processor with integrated graphics and video processing capabilities. Tegar is designed to run on Windows CE and Windows Mobile platforms and some are seeing the Tegra as the biggest threat to Intel's recently announced Atom processors.
