Best Buy to Pilot Free Electronics Recycling Program
Electronics retailer Best Buy has announced a test program to begin accepting old electronics gear to be recycled at no charge. The pilot program will run in 117 stores in eight states, and depending on how it goes, may expand to the remainder of Best Buy's 922 stores in the U.S. Under the program, consumers can bring in up to two devices a day including computers, monitors and TVs up to 32 inches. Large appliances, console TVs and oter large items are not covered under the trial.
