Mac clone maker Psystar is nothing if not persistent - in an act of continued defiance of Apple's software licensing restrictions, the embattled PC maker is said to be shipping its first "Service Pack", aimed at fixing a number of bugs and glitches, including some found within Apple's Leopard OS. The OS-specific updates fix problems with Apple's "Time Machine" complete PC backup app, as well as issues concerning "Keyboard Viewer" and "Character Palette" in the system preferences menu. Also of note are updates that add international security standards to networked devices, a compatibility fix for the Realtek NIC that comes standard in Psystar's computers, as well as updates to Java. As of Monday, all Psystar computers will automatically ship with the Service Pack, and the updates are also available for download from Psystar's website.
