Wii Fit Hits U.S. Retailers Tomorrow

Nintendo's incredibly popular Wii gaming console got a fitness boost yesterday, when the Wii Fit game hit the shelves of Nintendo's New York retail store. The game, which features strength training, aerobic, balance, and yoga themes across its more than 40 different exercises, comes with a unique shoulder-wide exercise board that can track the user's BMI, weight, and fitness progress charts. Scheduled to hit stores nationwide on Wednesday, analysts predict that 30% of the 10 million current U.S. Wii owners will "get Fit", and Amazon and Wal-Mart claim to have already sold all of their available pre-order stock.
