When manufacturers' release product for review they are often held under non-disclosure agreements until a given release date. Once those NDAs expire the flurry of reviews makes for some interesting reading. Such is the case with the NVIDIA 780a SLI chipset. AMD has finally fixed the TLB erratum that affected early versions of it Phenom processors and have release quad-core versions of its 9x50 series of processors along with tri-core versions as well. Along with these processors came its 790FX platform and now NVIDIA is getting into the game with its own chipset offering SLI support for the AM2/AM2+ lineup.
