Microsoft Eliminates Charge for Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack

Microsoft announced it is removing the charge for its Heroic Map Pack for the Halo 3 Xbox 360 title. Prior to the announcement the add-on pack cost 800 Microsoft points. There are three maps in the expansion pack, Standoff, Rat's Nest and Foundry. The move is likely in preparation for the upcoming release of the Legendary Map Pack due out April 15 and slated to cost 800 Microsoft points.
