Now 2GHz DDR3 memory by Corsair for the NVIDIA 790i Ultra SLI platform
At the CeBit in Hannover, Germany (see OCCs coverage
here), NVIDIA launched the new 790i Ultra SLI, which was present at almost any large mainboard manufacturer's booth.
Corsair took it upon themselves to create a series of gaming memory targeted at working with this chipset, including a set that break 2GHz. These models are the Dominator TW3X2G2000, Dominator TW3X2G1800 and the XMS DHX TW3X2G1600, all of which are 2 gigabyte kits. All of these modules have the new Enhanced Performance Profile 2 (EPP2) feature, as well as the DHX heatspreaders that is already on the high-end DDR2 sticks from Corsair.
