Competitors for the MacBook Air are on their way!

The launch of Apple's MacBook Air added one item to most technophile's more or less realistic wishlist. However, the hardware contained in the laptop do not match what everybody is looking for, which is power and portability combined. This niche may be filled soon though, as Intel sells the shrinked CPU used in the MacBook Air to other companies. Intel's 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo Merom processor is a major factor why the MacBook Air can be kept so thin. It's a special development mobile processor, which is 60% than the rest of the Merom family CPUs.
