PNY Technologies, Inc. announced at CES 2008 its XLR8 Chilled Edition high-end graphics cards, equipped with a fully assembled liquid cooling system. Designed to easily install in the majority of standard computer cases, gamers benefit from a complete out-of-the-box system and save money without having to purchase additional components that require complicated assembly. Co-developed by CoolIT and PNY, the XLR8 Chilled Edition graphics card system features CoolIt's Dual Drive Bay VGA Cooler mated with PNY's new XLR8 graphics cards. "The new XLR8 Chilled Edition is an aggressively overclocked, liquid cooled graphics card system that delivers the highest frame rates at the most detailed settings and highest resolutions," said Nicholas Mauro, senior marketing manager for PNY Technologies, PC Components. "In fact, it is so powerful that it can reduce the GPU temperatures of three overclocked 8800 Ultra's running in SLI by up to 40 percent." PNY's XLR8 Chilled Edition graphics card systems will be available by end of Q1 2008 for an MSRP starting at $599 and up depending on the GPU model and single, 2-way, or 3-way configuration.
