Buffalo Technology today announced two additions to its line of NAS devices: the 500GB LinkStation EZ and 1TB LinkStation Pro Duo. Buffalo also announced the US debut of its ultra-high capacity portable storage device, the 320GB MiniStation TurboUSB. The LinkStation EZ includes a single 500GB SATA drive spinning at 7,200 rpm. The LinkStation Pro Duo comes equipped with two 5,400 rpm 500GB SATA drives that can be configured in RAID 0 for performance or RAID 1 for data redundancy. It also includes Buffalo’s Web Access feature, which allows users to access and share files at any time from anywhere in the world by just using a web browser interface. It supports Microsoft Active Directory. Both devices include a single 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet connection with JumboFrame support. The MiniStation TurboUSB secures and stores large amounts of data while on-the-go. Protected by Buffalo’s unique Shock Resistant technology, this floating design absorbs any bumps, drops or shocks. All three products include Memeo’s AutoBackup to ensure that all of your data is fully protected. The 500GB LinkStationEZ(LS-500GL) is currently available at an estimated street price of $199. The 1TB LinkStation Pro Duo (LS-W1.0TGL/R1) will be available this month at an estimated street price of $449. The 320GB MiniStation TurboUSB is now available at an estimated street price of $229.
