Activision Blizzard Merger

Are you a fan of World of Warcraft or Call of Duty? If so you may be interested to know the two game giants Blizzard and Activision merged in what they say will form "the world's most profitable games business" in a deal worth $18.8 billion. As part of the agreement Blizzard will be investing $2 billion and Activision will be investing $1 billion in the new company Activision Blizzard. Both companies are hoping that creating this new company will also merge their different strengths, spread through the different genres and markets each control.
