Daily Tech - Lenovo announced today that they will be entering into the workstation arena with its new ThinkStation family of products. Lenovo will have two ThinkStation workstations, the D10, and S10, based on the new Intel 45nm Penryn micro architecture. The D10 will feature two processor sockets and support Intel's quad-core Xeon 5400 series processors. The S10, will however, use the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 processor. Both models will come with dual GbE network ports, multiple drive bays, and USB 2.0 ports for expansion. Lenovo said both systems will feature NVIDIA graphic solutions, but gave no details. The units were announced today but will not hit the market till January 2008, the D10 will have a base price of $1,739 while the S10 will start at just $1,199.
