Information Week - Thursday Apple issued two new software updates to fix the iMacs freezing problems. Machines that are being recommended to update are the 20" and 24" models, with the 2.0 GHz and the 2.4 GHz with Intel C2D processors and with the 2.8 GHz Core 2 Extreme. The updates are available on Apple's Web site now, update 1.3 is for the new Leopard version of Mac OS X, and update 1.2 is for Leopard's Tiger. Apple is recommending that customers update their machines either through the company's automatic update process or a download directly from Apple's Web site, however some users are reporting that the issue remains unfixed.
