The Federal Communications Commission voted on Wednesday to ban exclusive contracts between apartment and condominium owners and the cable television providers. The move will give apartment and condominium dwellers a greater choice of pay television services, instead of being locked in to one provider. "There is no reason that consumers living in apartment buildings should be locked into one service provider," FCC Chairman Kevin Martin said in a statement.
