News: Windows Home Server Now Available in U.S.

PC World - For some the long awaited, Microsoft Windows Home Server is now available in the United States. Windows Home Server, can connect up to ten Windows XP or Vista machines, with features such as automatic backup, disk restore, file and printer sharing and remote Web based access. The OEM server operating system first went on sale two months ago in New Zealand and Australia at prices ranging between $149 and $199. The OEM edition has also been sold in the United Kingdom for several weeks now. Although prices range from $165 to $189 in the U.S. it is available at NewwEgg now for $189.99. Most other retailers are taking orders, and currently not shipping.
