For what it is, a motherboard targeting those who can't afford, or aren't interested in a $200+ board with all the bells and whistles, the ECS NF650iSLIT-A is good product. On the positive side ECS always offers a clean and well labeled product, making installation almost foolproof. The 650i chipset offers many of the same features of its more expensive 680i sibling, at a much more attractive price. And before you think that it comes at the tradeoff of quality and performance, I was pleasantly surprised at how the ECS NF650iSLIT-A motherboard performed when put up against some of the more popular motherboards on the market. On the downside, BIOS issues sabotage the ECS NF650iSLIT-A.The ECS NF650iSLIT-A BIOS is simplistic, perfect for the beginner or those who have no intention of tinkering. Lack of overclocking friendly options might limit this board's appeal to the serious enthusiast.
