AF1_PURPLESKULL commented on 2003-09-24 22:00:00 that: well guys its all done i did what i could and ther few mods i wasnt able to take pictures of if ya know what i mean EMU commented on 2003-04-17 22:00:00 that: I got the same case, those fans are doing very little unless you cut away the cheese graters behind them. I also cut off the front USB panel so that the 120mm could get some breathing room, still it doesnt get enough air. The main problem that I have is that there is only 1 real intake fan (on the side) since the 120 is only circulating air that is already inside the case, so I may even cut more off. My case has UV cathodes and all UV reacting fans and cables... nice setup there. alechko88 commented on 2003-03-07 22:00:00 that: ad more exhaust, and a little less intake, remeber exhaust > intake: always! besides that, great setup, nice case! KraZy commented on 2003-02-19 22:00:00 that: Blasting temps. Tight case. Slow down on the fans a bit.... bkny1055 commented on 2003-02-19 22:00:00 that: nice speed for an AMD..case looks really cool.thanks for the pics..really appreciate it AF1_PURPLESKULL commented on 2003-02-19 22:00:00 that: well i really apreciate all the comments i got i have an updated pic for you guys that commented on which way and how&many exausts i had on there in short case was on budget so i did with best with $$ thnks for comments good to see mine was such hit JeepNPhreek commented on 2003-02-18 22:00:00 that: I've got my 2100+ over clocked 2 a 2200+ or a little more and my cpu temps are only at like 45 most of the time. My system runs at around 29 30ish most of the time. U should really work on cleanin the wires and stuff. That would probably help out with some of the system temps which in turn would help some on the CPU temps. U might think about gettin a better heatsink. JeepNPhreek commented on 2003-02-18 22:00:00 that: Also, one problem with the heat is that u have 2 many intake fans and not enough exhaust. That causes air flow problems. U might want to switch the 120mm to an exhaust, or make a few of the 80mm exhast or something. Play with it and see what u get the best temps with. It will help your system temp BIG TIME. TaylorMade commented on 2003-02-17 22:00:00 that: interesting case, its kinda neat. I think thats a perfect example of fan overkill though. Try to rework your wiring towards the bottom. Besides that, its pretty cool. not sure why you went all out with the dual bios thing, its been around for a few years now and it only helps if you fry the original bios, but whatever, good job overal |
