Info:

This is the first actual case ive made (: very proud. Took me a few months, and many late nights, blood, sweat and tears (mostly over the cost). ^^

* Case:
- 120 mm papst silent fan, with 45ppi filter, in front. (INTAKE)
- 2 x Cooler master 80mm silent fans, on top (EXHAUST, yellow led) and behind (INTAKE, blue led).
- Rheobus Fancontroller 3.5 Black.
- Power-button made from an old phantom-ring (wires from old case).
- Covered in black speaker-clothing carpet.
- Copper vent on top.
- CCFL: Green Bitsmodding Cold Cathode Light-kit. (not installed in all photos)

- CD/floppy-holders, back panel and mobo-holder were taken from old case and painted.
- HDD-holder is made from two metal plates with holes in (? :P).

~ Pros:
- The 1,6mm solid wood makes it really quiet!
- Imo it looks really cool, and im proud to have built it!
- It makes a great foot-rest!
- It actually cools really well. HDD: 120mm, CPU: 80mm, top: 80mm.

~ Cons:
- I can hardly get it into my car/out of the front door :P
- Its really heavy, but i actually like that, feels reliable (:
- PSU gets quite hot! Dont know if its due to the case or not, but still, hot! Im going to mod the psu as soon as i have the time..

Not a bad idea, I have always like the look of my subwoofer box, never thought of modding it into a computer case, at least there is some good room inside of it, lol...I would only suggest putting a window on the top of the box or something to look down inside.

Also how do you have it set up to be able to get inside of the box if you want to replace something?

ty! after two hours of playing Morrowind at 1280x960, cpu is @ 41-42 C. avg idle temp is 36-38. The only thing that gets REALLY warm is my psu :/ might be because its so close to the top. Thinking about modding it with a fan on top.

lost:
(: its a special carpet for putting on homemade speakerboxes. The trickies part of making the box was gettin this to look good around corners and in round fan-holes!
