Hmm, well the goal was to build a budget computer, some parts I allready had, but basically everything is now new in this computer (except the floppy... and the hard drives) which are both factored into the cost.

the specs:
AMD mobile 2500+xp barton @ 2,500 mhz
Temps CPU: Idle(33) load(38) room(23c)
Air cooling as you can see, Zalman 7000.

2x western digital 80 giggers, 1 for storage/v-ram, the other for installed apps / OS. Loudest part of my system =/.

Antec Truepower 430 watt PSU
Liteon CD-RW + DvD drive
Epox mobo, I hate it... Last time I give into sales.

Radeon 9800 Pro softmodded to XT, 20,000 3dmark 2001, 7,037 3dmark 03 Omega drivers. Clocked at 435/800. on a VGA silencer.

3x Arctic cooling fans, 2x antec intake fans, 1x Panaflow 120mm*35mm top intake, one ice cool case. Spl meter reads 33 dbs from 1 meter. Ambient room level with nothing on is 18 DB's, ambient room level with AC on is 48 DB's. normal conversation = 75 DB's for comparison. Wisper = 60 dbs.

This is with the new Duct mod (120mm fan to the proc) off, as I don't have my digital camera back yet.
