Info: I had an old Compaq sitting around, taking up space, So I decided to hang it up on the wall. I used Double Sided tape to hang up the Floppy Drive, CD Drive, I used Screws to hang the Motherboard, Power Suppy, and Hard Drive. It has a 900MHz AMD CPU, 40 Gig HD, 64 MB Memory, And a CD Burner :D (Told you it was old.) And yes, it works. Lemme know what you think.

Nice, 10 for creativity...get a small laptop sized LCD and put it in a frame next to it and use that...then wireless mouse/keyboard ;) Whole computer on the wall would be awesome...

Meriduss commented on 2004-06-18 22:00:00 that:
damn awesome. i suggest putting some cathodes around it. maybe get a bunch of extensions for the cathodes, and put them in various parts of your room? really cool lighting i would say. hmmm...i might have to try that:)

vyroburn commented on 2004-06-15 22:00:00 that:
lol, pretty cool, would look really sweet if you fabricated a large 4 inch thick picture frame and turned your pc into a wall mounted art computer =)

airman commented on 2004-06-15 22:00:00 that:
like the idea, but i don't understand how it got a 9.7 from 5 votes, when it doesn't even have a case!

Propane commented on 2004-06-09 22:00:00 that:
Nice, is noise an issue?

Spaced_bar commented on 2004-06-08 22:00:00 that:
well done man, its good to see theres more than just one psycho d00d thats not happy with just a but with lights in it:)

kurosen commented on 2004-06-06 22:00:00 that:
Ummmmm.... exactly how many bottles of Bawls did you drink before deciding on this? :p

Seriously though, it is one hell of a creative idea. Much props, and good job. My only problem is I'm speechless on how to describe it... Maybe something like "OMG WTF is that thing hanging on his wall?!"

Maybe...

Where did that idea come from. Really creative. Whats next? :)

SHANK commented on 2004-06-05 22:00:00 that:
thats a great idea but put round cables on it make it look neat then add a frame make it look like art lol but clean the cables up

Seth_Man commented on 2004-06-05 22:00:00 that:
nice, better than any painting.

DarkScorpion commented on 2004-06-05 22:00:00 that:
LoL, do what shank says, make a picture frame for it.God Job =D

Darkhawk_76 commented on 2004-06-05 22:00:00 that:
So for colling you just turn on the ceiling fan? Turn the ac on high? Takes case cooling to a whole new level and hey...no more dust bunnies collecting. But the bad part is it won't be going to alot of lan parties unless you host it at home. I gave you a 10 for creativity.

anthony commented on 2004-06-05 22:00:00 that:
i think you need some wire management! :P

MindDrive commented on 2004-06-05 22:00:00 that:
thats a big negative on the wire management - i think you should add more wires to make it look like the computer is assimilating the wall kinda like in AKIRA. if you wanna get a little more out of control even put a few holes in the wall and stick wires in them

sometimes wire management can make things look less "unique" make the messy wire thing part of the prodject !!!! MUA HAHAHAHHAHAHHA

Thanks for the comments, THese pictures were taken after 20 minutes of labor, So I'm still working on it, I will get updated pic's when I'm done with wire management.
