This is my first pc to build. It was an interesting experience. The case isn't heavily modded by any means. I bought a $30 case (including 300 watt ps) and added a $15 dollar window and a $6 led fan. Unfortunatly only one side of my case is silver which looks rather akward. I would like to paint it. (Any tips?)

Intel Celeron 1.7ghz (P4 2.8ghz coming after xmas)

768mb PC2100 (thinking about changing to 1GB PC3200)
Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
Thermaltake Spark 7+ hsf
1 30gb and 1 80 gb hd

Hey, I'm Paxim from Xtremods.com and I built a system in this exact same case in January '03. Take a look at Paxim's Gallery at Xtremods.com to see what I did to my case. IMHO it looks alot better than this one. BTW-this is the first time EVER that I've seen ANYONE else with my same case(not to mention, modded it)

Ok, I stealthed my CD Drive and i'm going to buy a new power supply. Does anyone know if the ASPIRE Turbo Case 520 watt ATX-AS520W 12V is good. I've read good reviews on a similar one from the same company, except it is the acrylic one and is 500watts. Also I'm planning on sleeving the power cables when I get it and I'm ditching my homemade round cables for some real ones.(Do the cheap one make a difference?) Thanks for all the comments.

ya. how did you get your window cutting so clean. i was about ready to pay someone to cut the window for me thats how much it pissed me off. other than that great case. you should stealth the drives

The window cutting looks really good, I had majot probs the first time, gj. You pointed out any other probs one might have with it (paint, wires) I may be interested in some 2100 later for my folding comps. PM me.

I would like to make a note that in the picture there is a PCI graphics card installed instead of a 9800 PRO as described. It's because the fan on the heatsink broke and I had to send it back to get it replaced. The PCI card is just a stand-in for now.

OK First, wire cleanup, seccond, wire cleanup. definetly paint the case and the chassis, i can send you some tips if you want. other than that i would upgrade my ps, a 300W generic wont do well. and definetly get the pc3200! happy modding
