200 Watt MDS amp (mids/highs)
2 Kenwood 920 Watt amps (mids/lows)
6 queen sized foam rubber mattresses (for audio insulation)
4 bags of extra large size pillow stuffing (for the doors)

Unfortunately this project has cost quite a deal of money and is not exactly "finished"... (1800+ just in the puter and audio). I bought the van off the dealerships lot for $2000 (they wanted 4300) i have yet to sink about $3000 more into it for it to be "show room finished" and 1200 of that will be just tires and rims.

Took a L O T of thinking, cutting, re-thinking, re-cutting and LOTS of planning on how to set the computer in the dash instead of just having a computer in a case strapped down somewhere in the vehicle.

Theres enough power in it that it blew the roof off of the cross members and the window behind the drivers seat almost blew out onto the ground durring the first sound check.

As of 9-18-05, i entered my first audio competition with this van with all 3 amps, 4 subs, 2 6x8's, 2 6"'s and scored in the 3rd round 144.4 decibles, 1st round was 138, 2nd was 138.6 --- didnt place but even the high rollers there thought it was wicked

sorry but this project has been canceled due to the insane prices of gas in illinois... it takes 130$ to fill the tank ~_~ BUT i have started another project like this but in a cadillac eldorado ;)

ya - its gonna "eventually" be competition quality finished --- thats few thousand dollars away - and thats not including the paint - thanks for the props - and yeah - i plan on putting a more powerfull computer in it but i didnt want to waiste the money on bling bling hardware just to find out it wont work lol --- and YES it does set off car alarms and ive even set off a building alarm

laptops fall over and break, "anyone" can just throw a laptop in a vehicle and plug in the auxilary input into the headphones... i wanted something that makes even pro audio people look a few couple times

doh ... anyway - as for power ... goto walmarts auto section... look or ask for the inverters - 700 watts is enough to run a computer and a 27" tv so 2 or 3 of them and i can have just bout anything running - plus i have 2 batteries in my van - one for the inverter and the van... one for the amps
